Leyth Sharaf is a high school student at Dubai College. He loves exploring big ideas through storytelling, which inspired him to write his debut novel, Seventeen Missions to Save the World. Leyth weaves humor and action into a powerful narrative about two teenagers who are yanked though a time portal into 17 dystopian futures and must return to 2025 to prevent them from happening.

His love for writing grew after taking a creative writing course at a highly selective program in the United States for academically gifted students.
As the Capitan of his school's U16 Boys' Basketball Team, Leyth has learned the importance of teamwork, leadership and inspiring others; values that extend beyond the court.

Leyth deeply believes in giving back to the community and has helped raise funds to support numerous charities through YallaGive.com. These experiences continue to shape his storytelling and his mission to inspire young people to take meaningful action toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGS).

When a shape-shifter disrupts the final seconds of their basketball game, two teens are thrown into 17 dystopian futures, each linked to one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Their mission: Return to 2025 and stop the catastrophes from happening.

Seventeen disastrous futures await them, each caused by humanity''s failure to act. As the two teens race through collapsing cities and surreal worlds, where schools have closed down and children have literally become the junk food they eat, the two teens start coming up with bold, action-packed, and even hilarious ways to save the world.

A fast-paced, funny, and deeply relevant adventure, the book makes global challenges human and show that change starts with awareness, action, and a little bit of chaos. But will two teens be enough to rewrite the world's future?
